I’ve created this blog as a place to gather ideas for my graduate thesis topic. Granted, I’m a whole year away from having to solidify a path of inquiry, but time flies fast when you’re drowning under presentation deadlines. I intend to post random tangents of information and then use the site as a filtering tool. There are so many sources to pull inspiration from: local events, class assignments, hot publications, just to name a few. Hopefully by compiling all this information into one place, I can more easily pick a common theme and tack down an area of personal interest.
I will be posting blurbs from local AIA and YAF events, lectures (at least the ones I attend), course information, studio research, and just general architecture school dirt. Also notable
topics in the local building scene and political climate. Essentially anything that could be categorized under architecture and/or urban design that interests me in Atlanta. And of course, lots of relevant images.
